This drawing lacks personality and I had to scrap a perfectly good background due to some color palette issues, but I'm too proud of how realistic the cat looks to do anything but slap together a lazy replacement background and call it a day. Behold, a picture of Ryestep that really should have been better thought out and reconstructed with new lighting, pose, and background, but I've spent too much time on to go back and start from scratch. Not my best work and I was considering not posting it, but I am very proud of her pelt if not thrilled by the overall composition. ||| Ref: http://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/a7/96/3e/a7963e3773a4edd13f7dca89c24a72c0.jpg
The anatomy and fur and patterns is beautiful. And I mean really, jeez, those markings! And how you used the light in this piece it all just looks so realistic! Did you use the color mixer tool for most of it?
I love this! I like her face the most, with her little whisker freckles and her beautiful whiskers! Her anatomy is great, her stripes are gorgeous, and dem paws look like perfect little paws! Awesome arts as usual!
