Toxickiss was not a bad person, at least he had always had that view of himself. However, during the past moon he had seen a startling change in his character that he would have thought out of place had he still resided in the serene forest of MoonClan. It was not a change that he despised, but nonetheless it had shocked him to realize so suddenly that the cruel city had held such a strong influence over him. He couldn't recognize the young and optimistic tom who had set off from his home clan to join another, completely alone, for a concept as fragile and changing as morality. A realism had settled across his mind that left the world stark and bare, painted with varying degrees of gray that offered no redemption for those who chose to tread among the bleak surroundings. He was more poised, he was more confident, certainly there had been some positive improvements to his overall manner but he had lost something. And that left a cold, aching hole in his heart that he felt no pressure to fill, and so he buried it beneath aspirations and told himself that the idealistic self he had lost was of little consequence. "Toxic?" The charcoal bengal's thoughts were pulled back into the present, and the sound of rumbling monsters and two leg chatter returned to him. He averted his gaze from the murky pool of water that had cast a distorted reflection of his face, and settled his blue eyes on the tattooed sphynx standing before him. "Are you coming, or what?" There was only a brief moment of hesitation from Toxickiss before he rose to his feet. "Of course," He answered before heading off along the rooftop.
