Laurelspring
Older Laurelspring painting done in coffee, retouched in Photoshop to make the colors as close to real life as I could to make up for an idiot of a scanner. I was working on cheap paper wetter than I should have been, so sorry about the wrinkles. Scanner and paper difficulties aside, I'm really happy with the way that this turned out! :)

Thank you!
It isn't as difficult as I was expecting it to be. It's a lot like working in high quality watercolors, except one color and not expensive. It's very forgiving, you can take a wet q-tip and draw out any color that slipped into the wrong area without much noticeable staining, or touch it up with a wet brush after.

This is spectacular, Ember! I can't imagine coffee painting,, and the fact that you can pull it off so well is, truth to be told, mind-blowing to me.

Thank you!
I sketched it out with pencil first, which made the proportions easier to get right.

That looks amazing I prefer to use tea when I do things but the coffee turned out really good. You shouldn't worry about the wrinkles because I think it gives the picture more depth. Great job drawing, that would be hard enough but with coffee it would be even harder, and everything is very well proportioned.
