In a slight change of topic, how do y'all feel about scheduling the two-legs stumbling upon SunClan's camp for this Saturday?

Member Posts: 985 | I think thatÂ’s a good time! Or perhaps Friday night? Someone could get it started, then it could stretch into Saturday. I feel like that might work better, due to the fact if only one person starts it late it would get noticed better in the morning.

People do tend to be active in the evenings, so Friday night sounds like a good idea.

May I add a suggestion for ending the famine? I live in Georgia, but right now the robin migration is staggering. Can't walk outside without scaring the robins. They're everywhere and won't leave us alone- we're keeping our cats inside right now because if we let them out, each one will catch a robin. Sort of cheesy I suppose, but perhaps a bird migration of a similar proportion could come along to end the famine and be a sign to send the rest of the cats back home to their home territories?

Member Posts: 985 | I agree with Kamira. It would bid the clans well to have some sort of a food spike. Here, our voles are everywhere. ItÂ’s starting to warm up, so it makes sense that thereÂ’s something to hunt. (I also think this could help out the SunClan cats that are heading back to the barn.)

On the topic of clans eventually returning to their own territories, will SunClan be returning to the barn first, and then to their usual camp, as a way of easing the transition until leaf-bare is entirely over? Or would returning to the barn and then to camp just be too confusing, and not make enough sense to go through the trouble of?

In response to River, I personally think they should just return to their camp. I think going back and forth from barn to camp would cause a lot of confusion.

Yeah, especially for the people who aren't on every day. If we make set dates to make SunClan/MoonClan/EarthClan go back to their camps, that will most likely cut confusion down at the roots.

Hm, I like the idea of having some sort of migration event bless the clans with abundant food at some point, but I'm less certain that it would be best to use it now. To keep tensions up with the Deliverance plot, it seems like we should keep the pressure on food-wise, or at least have it be an average season. We could use the migration plot point later on, when we need to give certain clans a boost. Â I agree that they should go straight back to their ordinary camp, to limit confusion.

I feel like The Deliverance Plot is moving too slowly, We need to host their next meeting, which I think a few cats can stumble upon and that could raise the suspicions faster. The faster they find out, the more faster the plot could be put into action. Along with the Migration, what if after The Deliverance is sorted out and exiled, it could be sent as some sort of "omen" in a way.... Saying the hard times will come to an end soon?

This sits more as a side plot but could work its way into the main plot (to stir tensions) depending on how it's handled. Eaglefrost is currently taking care of Brambleheart and Maplesky's kit, who Smokethorn brought to her after murdering the mother. I plan to have Brambleheart figure out it's his daughter at some point during the merge, but Eaglefrost will refuse to give her up. This could do two things 1) Cause more tension surrounding the murder (accusations that someone in SunClan was behind the murder of Maplesky) 2) Create tension between SunClan and MoonClan over who has jurisdiction.

I thought I might insert a few possibilities from my own side-plots that could interfere with the major plot in some way -Frecklemask is currently interacting with Brambleheart and Beartooth- some clanmates and MoonClan cats could think she's meddling too much in otherclan affairs and this could 'muddy the waters' when it comes to the irritation all the cats are experiencing. -the Apprentice fight club's next meeting should be soon, with all the murders happening, one of the apprentices could accuse another of knowing something about the murders, and then start fighting, possibly with a maiming injury resulting. This could help include the young'uns in the plot, since after this Fencepaw would call off the meeting and send everyone home. -Softlullaby's going to start accusing random EclipseClan cats of killing Gladekit (under the assumption that she was sick, and the EcC cats didn't want the sickness in the camp) and might eventually try and run for SunClan's other camp in secret once the SC cats arrive to tell her about it, kits in tow. -Oakpaw and Shadowedkit of SunClan are off on their own little adventure and got separated from their clan during the move. Not quite relevant, thought I'd include it anyway. (If you have an apprentice in Fight Club or want one included, please send me a PM so I can go ahead and organize the next meeting)

In addition, some vaguely coherent ideas -There've been a lot of lost/abandoned kits recently to join the clans. I was thinking on an in-character reason for this to be happening, and perhaps since it's so cold out, the loner/rogue queens that live alone are attempting infanticide/infant exposure because there isn't enough food to go around. So loners and rogues are leaving their newborns to freeze because they think there's no chance of them surviving and its too much work. -Since we're starting a greencough epidemic, I was wondering if we might include an unorthodox burial schedule of burying cats as soon as they die instead of letting them be mourned with a vigil. This could be because all the cats are together in close quarters and the medicine cats know the sickness would spread faster with the bodies. This could add to the sort of unrest, as cats are being forced to say goodbye to their loved ones very quickly before they're buried.

Member Posts: 3171 | It's time to start that witch hunt then, isn't it? I'll just say that all of my characters can be accused if any of you see a good opportunity for it; so long as its natural, just go ahead.
