Sorry if this is a bit of a mess, I have thirteen minutes to throw it into semi-coherent English early in the morning. So:

We have monthly Gatherings, we have monthly Medicine Cat Meetings - why not Leader Meetings?

The concept: A monthly(?) meeting in which the leaders of each clan meet at a neutral location (Moonstone, Hawk's Tree, etc.) to discuss clan and inter-clan relationary matters that wouldn't/couldn't be discussed at a massive gathering. Each leader would, of course, bring two or three guards. The deputy of each clan would be left fully in charge while the leader was gone.

Advantages:
- Would provide opportunity for discussion between clan authority that would otherwise be very difficult to find a place for
- Through this discussion, interesting clan-relations dynamics could be formed
- Would be a good plot point for attacks/ambushes on leaders, a group intruding to just give a verbal threat to the authority of all four clans, etc.
- Encourages more interaction between leaders, leading to stronger alliances (or feuds/anti-alliances) that seem less forced or scripted
- More natural plot development in general because of this in-character interaction
- Gives good plot possibility for back at camp, while the deputy is in charge; could turn clan against deputies whose leadership during the leaders' meeting is considered 'weak'
- Another opportunity to draw tension from, like with Gatherings when clans are forced to meet in times of war/isolation/general tension

I think I may have had more points when I first thought of this weeks ago, but they're long-forgotten now xD

Functional idea? Non-functional idea? Suggestions to improve this possibly semi-functional idea? Need clarification on any of the outlined points, or the general idea?

I think it's hard enough to get the leaders together for the Gathering, and having a second meeting a month might just suck up even more of their time.

I agree with L, although it sounded like a good idea in retrospect even the Medicine Cats don't meet up like they should. (No disrespect to the owners of the medicine cats) And the way people's schedules are, it would be difficult for the leaders to meet. They would end up in the meeting for days while waiting for everyone to show up.

IÂ’m siding more with L and Honeyy. Leaders already have so many obligations and are often pulled from one thing to another. Trying to pull all of them away from their clans seems like a waste, for what little it would do. If anything, I think we should work with the meetings we already have and increase the importance of and attendance at Medicine Cat Meetings, which would have many of the benefits you listed for leader meetings.

Ah, makes sense - I always miss some sort of logistical issue when throwing together ideas x)

I definitely agree with increasing importance and attendance of Medicine Cat Meetings - they've always seemed rather under-valued to me, when they could provide such good opportunity for plot developments.

If the other medicine cat and medicine cat apprentice owners are interested, I'd be happy to help organize the medicine cat meetings more thoroughly - maybe a group PM a couple days to a week ahead, planning what our characters will discuss, what sort of StarClan interaction they'll have at the Moonstone, and how this will affect the clans. Once we've discussed this, we can give a short summary on here, and go ahead with the meeting?

That sounds great!  I've sent PM reminders in the past, but since I don't have a med. cat there's not too much I can do.

I've been considering having Ravenpaw join the Deliverance, but before I do I wanted to ask a few things. Since he is Eclipsestar's kit, he would never join if he knew they killed his mother. For this reason, I was wondering if the Deliverance members wouldn't tell him this, and lie by omission for a while. I'm planning on him finding out eventually and striving to destroy the Deliverance. Would this complicate anything with the plot? I just want to make sure before I have him join, because if it will, I won't have him join the Deliverance. If this won't cause complications with the plot, would you want to use this in some way to further the plot?

Nothing much to add of my own here; I feel like we've got a lot of stuff planned/sorted out and I think people have really been taking initative in terms of doing things which add to the overall trends we've intended.

One question, though, which I don't think has been answered yet: how many cats are actually in the Deliverance right now?

Could everyone who has members please state how many cats you have that are members, who they are and what clans they are in? I currently have three in the Deliverance: Nadia from Earthclan Absinthe from Eclipseclan Foxfang from Moonclan

I have one member, Everli of Eclispeclan. Also, sorry that I really haven't had much to say on here, I'm not that good at actually explaining things, but I am definitely watching this.

15 right now I think if I've counted correctly. I don't think it would throw off the plot too much.

Query.

EclipseClan lives in an abandoned part of the town, correct? Presumably their building is not the only empty one in that immedaite area. Would it make more sense for the other clans to claim the adjacent/opposite buildings on the same street? I feel as though this would allow for better tension to develop between the clans during their stay in this communal area, rather than have them all become friends simply due to their proximity. Each of the clans would be 'watching their neighbours' from up close, and confirming their biases with their observations, rather than being fully exposed to the ins and outs of each other. Also allows for some easier organization in terms of threads. Doesn't really cut away the ability for the clans to all interact, since they would probably still be hunting and socializing together in the areas between and around their own buildings. And, of course, it helps to make the situation a tad more realistic.

Tickpelt and Eden for me

@Spirit, it is possible Ravenpaw could side with Eden, as he is going to be the one that causes The Deliverance's downfall.

Alien, I've always imagined it being in a generally dilapidated part of town, but there still being people around.  I'm not also convinced that would go very well, though, it seems like the clans would just stick to their own temporary clans and avoid each other as much as possible.
