Here y'all go

Nightchourus stepped towards the border, and tasted the air. She turned to see if the rest of the patrol had even bothered to follow.

Tiger walked towards the border and marked it quickly. He turned to see if the others had followed. Nightchourus was right behind him, tasting the air and looking around.

Tiger took a deep breath, and then opened his eyes wide. "What is that smell?" He asked, as he tasted the air, trying to find the location of whatever smelled so good. "I smell it too." Nightchourus said, and she made her way towards a large dumpster. "I think it's coming from over here." She leapt up onto the edge of the dumpster and peered inside.

(After ten) Tiger helped her rummage around in the trash, and together they hauled out some sort of bird carcass which they dropped onto the ground. Tiger jumped down to sniff it. "Wow. That must have been one big bird." Nightchourus cocked her head. "There's two more of them. Wonder where their feathers are?" She hauled one after the other out of the dumpster and hopped down beside Tiger.

Tiger smiled, and the sight was, well, creepy. "It doesn't matter because they're ours now." He prodded one of the birds. "Here, you two take one and I'll take one." He said, and he grabbed one of the large birds. The smell and taste made his mouth water and his stomach rumble. He turned and headed awkwardly towards the camp with the big bird in his jaws. Nightchourus glanced at Azureblaze, and followed Tiger, a bird clutched in her own mouth. (Poof to Eclipseclan camp)

"Alright, well, we've seen the border. Can we go ahead and head back now?" Briarpath asked, scowling at her creaking joints as she started back toward Grackleflight.

"Your memory must be starting to go-- that's not that point of a border patrol," Grackleflight meowed and started along the border, heading southward.

Heartgaze had that grinned smug on her face, like when she caught a bunch of prey. Expect this wasn't prey, this was murder. She decided to follow the two cats, hoping one of them would be her victom. 

"Fiiine," Briarpath sighed and started along after Grackleflight.  They walked in slow silence for a bit, niether in any particular hurry to get back to camp.  Grackleflight's ears pricked forward and she darted into an alley after a rat as Briarpath frowned after her, cursing herself for not even noticing the thing before Grackleflight went clambering off, leaving her alone.

Heartgaze laughed, finally pleased that cat was away She prepared to pounce, slipping her claws unsheathed.

Briarpath's tail flicked and she unknowlingly wandered closer to Heartgaze, impatiently waiting for Grackleflight to return.  She flinched as the sound of cans hitting the concrete rang out.  "You okay?" She called.

"Yeah!  One sec!" Grackleflight called back.

Heartgaze took this advantage as the cat looked distracted. She pounced, landing on the cats back. She willingly let her claws slide into the cats back.

Briarpath gasped and tried to buck back to throw off the cat, though she was so sick and weak the effort would have struggled to dislodge a kit.

Heartgaze laughed and whispered in the cats ear, "You think you can take me on?" She nipped of a piece of the cats ear and tail, then decided to slowly slice open the stomache. She rolled the cat over and hovered the claw over the top of the belly before sinking the claw in.

"Help!" Briarpath shouted, though only silence answered from the alley Grackleflight had disappeared into.

Clearly annoyed, Heartgaze decided to kill this cat fast. She bit into the exposed neck and teared a big clump of fur out. She put fur and blood in a huge pile, so it was easy to pick up and flee once this cat is dead.
