Lusterpaw walked out into the territory, more towards the border. She sniffed around, and caught the slight stench of mouse. She followed it softly, but kept her ears pricked towards the other side. | |

Member Posts: 6069 | Owlpaw padded through the territory close to the border, somewhat carelessly. He didn't really care who saw him, not because he was ignorant to Sunclan's and Earthclan's rivalry but because he just wasn't too worried. He hadn't gone over the border so nobody could say anything to him. He could see Sunclan's moors and it made him uneasy. How did they just..always stay out on the open? Must be terrible. Snow. Rain. What did they use? He'd never seen their camp before. | |

Lusterpaw's ears picked up when she heard pawsteps on the other side of the border. She looked over the heather, noticing the rather large, dark body of another cat. She took a few steps forward, and sniffed at him quietly. A rebel! She stood up, trying to puff her fluffy chest out as much as she could. "Who are you?" She tried to say in a low, commanding voice, but it came out just a little lower than her normal, higher voice. | |

Member Posts: 6069 | Owlpaw blinked slowly and turned his large cocoa brown eyes to the voice of..a she cat? He almost backed away, not knowing how to talk to...she cats. The only she cats he'd ever spoken to was his mother and his sisters. He stopped himself, reminding himself not to be a punk and straightened up, the thick tufts of fur around his neck looking bigger as he puffed out his chest as well. "Owlpaw." His deep rumble of a voice answered simply. | |

Woah. The deep voice caught her off guard, but it intrigued her. "You're an apprentice too?!" She smiled, running over to him. "My name's Lusterpaw." She smiled, her creme and grey pelt fluffing up. She felt so small next to him, and wanted to feel bigger. "Are you a rebel?" | |

Member Posts: 6069 | Owlpaw backed up a few, trying to look as serious as possible but his large eyes and dilated pupils kept that kit-ish look about him. "Er..yes. You smell like heather...you must be a Sunclan cat." He looked her up and down, his ears flicking forward. | |

Member Posts: 6069 | Owlpaw blinked a few, trying to narrow his eyes but...it didn't work. He was too flustered. He tried to square his shoulders and look like a manly man. Manly men didn't get their eyes complimented on what was going on? He cleared his throat, so thankful for his dark pelt so she couldn't see the blush on his cheeks. "No, actually. My mother's eyes are blue and my father's eyes are a dark amber almost red..I dunno where the brown came from or why they're so big.." He huffed. | |

"I like them." Lusterpaw giggled, her blue eyes playful. She really liked how he tried to act so big and powerful, and it made her smile. She sat down, curling her tail gently around her paws. "You know, you seem rather fluffy for a Rebel." She teased. | |

Member Posts: 6069 | "Well...thank you." He meowed rather awkwardly, a happy purr threatening to rumble out of his chest. He even had to make his tail fall to the ground due to it almost waving around in the air. His eyefurs furrowed as he gazed at her then looked down at the tuft of fur that surrounded his neck then back at her, his expression of mock hurt. "And your legs are kind of short to be a Sunclanner." He smirked. | |

Lusterpaw's expression darkened a bit. She grumbled to herself, and tried to hide her legs. She looked back at him, trying to look angry, but her light creme fur let the blush show boldly. "Well, you look too big to be a rebel." She retorted, her blue eyes glistening with happiness. | |

Aren't they mostly skittish? Shouldn't you be freaking out about a rebel being so close to the border?" He raised an eyefur. | |

Lusterpaw snorted at her rebuttle being shot down. Her ears perked at his question, "Yeah, they are." She thought of her mother and the majority of other cats. "But it's a waste of time to be so skittish. You gotta be strong and brave!" She smiled, then looked at him with a raised eyefur. "Oh should I be?" She bounced away. "Oh dearie me! A big, strong rebel! StarClan save me!" She whined, putting a paw to her forehead and falling back, looking like she fainted, before she opened her eyes and sat up to look at Owlpaw. "Like that?" She teased. | |

Member Posts: 6069 | Owlpaw lowered his ears as the she cat opposite of him pounced around, thinking that she was making fun of him. A low growl rumbled in his pelt and he almost crouched to tackle the she cat but noticed she was just playing. Relax Owlpaw...not everyone is out to talk about you. Jeez, talk about people skills. He had none. He relaxed. "I suppose. But you could have had a little more umph in your acting." He covered his mouth with a paw as he yawned loudly, looking down at her and smirking playfully. | |

Lusterpaw gasped, and snorted. "No I'm not!" She said, jumping at him, trying to reach into his fluff to really see if it was shorter than hers. | |
