Posts: 12837 | Lakepaw jumped over the territory boarder, heart racing. She couldn't believe they had actually made it outside! Her head swung around to look at Phloxoaw, hoping he was still hot on her heels. The scent of rabbits and mice flooded her nose. Nocat Evernote hunters out here and there seemed to be plenty of food for the prey animals; maybe they didn't hibernate?

Member Posts: 779 | Phlox and Lake headed toward the eastern border. After walking for a short while, Phlox dropped the two small bundles of herbs he had snatched from the medicine den and sat, starting to eat his own. He made a face at the bitterness. (lol im at school so im just posting once fyi)

Posts: 12837 | Lakepaw looked at them questionably and swallowed one bundle, chewing it as quickly as possible. (XD alright. So... See you in right, nine hours?)

Member Posts: 779 | (Six lol. But i have a sub!) Phlox downed his and groaned, "Yuck. I hope those help. I don't know how medicine cats survive." He started along again as they exited the Clans. "Its really quite the walk... its just forest for a while but eventually it turn into plains and some twoleg homes. And after that theres a bunch of farms, and the barn is in one of them."

Member Posts: 779 | Phlox nodded. They walked for the majority of the overcast afternoon until they found a suburban area. He got a bit excited, "Hey! Here are the twoleg houses. He glaced back at her, "Have you ever been in one before?" He thought maybe they could take a rest in one or explore.

Posts: 12837 | As she fell in beside him, Lakepaw shook her head. "Nope... Well, actually, I sort of was inside one at one point, but it didn't look like one if those." she said, a shutter briefly running down her spine as she thought about the warehouse.

"Oh...?" His brow furrowed. He'd never seen any twolegs place other than the suburbs or the farms. He'd never even been in NightClan's territory. "What did it look like?" he asked, curious, as they neared the white fence of a quiet-looking home.

Posts: 12837 | It was big and gray for the most part." she stated. "The inside had a few different levels composed of wood and polished concrete. I think they called it a warehouse?"

"Huh. Were there a bunch of square things in it?" he asked, recalling a conversation he once overheard. He explored around the fence for a bit before finding an opening. "Want to go in?" he stuck his head through the hole. "Unless there's a dog here, these places are usually okay. The kits always think we're cute and they give us free food."

Posts: 12837 | She slipped through. "Sure! Oh and uh... No I don't recall there being any square things in there."

They popped out into a large garden, complete with a sitting area with pristine white patio chairs and a small bird fountain. He didn't see a dog so he continued inside. There were big flowering bushes everywhere and some trees that had turned orange for leaf-fall. The house had a large sliding-glass door and was two stories. "Wow!" he exclaimed, padding around and sniffing the flowers. "This one's really nice."

Posts: 12837 | She smelled the flowers as she looked at the house. "Yeah, it's really pretty." she said starting to grin.

Phlox nodded, padding up to the glass door. He peered through but couldn't see much past the glare. He scratched at the door. "Think we can get inside?" he wondered. If there were no twolegs inside, they could probably get in through the second story, he thought.

Posts: 12837 | Lakepaw pawed the glass. "I don't know. Maybe if we find a weak spot we can get in."

Phloxpaw laughed, "I think we'd have to shatter the entire thing to get in through this way." He glanced up towards the trees. "Hey, I think there's a spot open on the top," he said, pointing to a door that was open to a balcony. "Do you like to climb?" he asked, padding over to a tree closest to the house and poising himself to jump into it.

Phlox laughed, jumping up after her. He scrambled out onto a thick branch that gre near the roof. He gathered his haunches and sprang, langing on the edge of the roof. He wallked cautiously on the tiles to right above the balcony, where he waited for Lake.

Posts: 12837 | She jumped, just missing and slid off the edge if the roof, but she clung tightly and made it on the tiles. "Alright, I'm here."

Phloxpaw was relieved when Lake made it over okay. He hopped down onto the balcony and padded over to the door quietly. "I don't think anyone's home...?" he said, unsure of himself. He slowly walked into the carpeted bedroom, scenting the air. He poked his head into the closet, then jumped on top of the dresser. "I think another cat lives here," he said quietly.
