Hey guys, we have some planning to work out. By our usual calendar, the next gathering will fall this coming weekend (July 14-16) and the medicine cat meeting the weekend after that (July 21-23).
As well, we have planned a dog attack on MoonClan and to have the humans gas a rabbit warren in SunClan territory, followed by a major battle. We can have the dog attack and rabbit warren gassing happen in the coming week (which MoonClan and SunClan can try to hide during the gathering), followed by the gathering. Then, to give us a bit of time for the battle, we can let two weeks pass and have the battle take place on the weekend of the 28th-30th. Does that sound alright to you? None of this is set in stone, just my attempt at how it could work, so if you have any ideas please speak up.
Regardless of when exactly the gathering happens, about 30 cats should attend the gathering from each clan. Leaders, make sure that each member with an eligible character in your clan has at least one character attending and try to have the invited character lists posted as soon as possible. The clans will travel to Hawk’s Tree on Friday, the gathering will officially begin Saturday, and the clans should return to their camps by Sunday evening but the gathering can go past that point if necessary. As well, I’ve noticed that the medicine cat meetings have been poorly attended lately. Medicine cats, please put the meeting down on your calendars as I will not be sending out any reminders for it.

Will the gassing only effect the prey, or will cats be suffering from the poison as well?
Also, maybe we could make the gassing and dog attacks related? Like, the humans let the dogs out to flush out any rabbits or whatever and they gas the warren they already targeted?

If any cats are near enough it could definately be deadly to them, though I suspect they'd see the two-legs approaching and run away.
That would work if both were aimed at one place, but they're in separate areas of the forest. Maybe they're only related in that the humans are trying to control the feral cat population? That's a pretty blunt way to do it, though.

Oh, very true. You could also do something along the lines of the humans gassing a few other warrens, or otherwise exterminate some other vermin, across the forest (not necessarily in the clan territories, but, say, around the Loner Forest area?) and a pack of stray dogs is scavenging off of what is left by the humans?
Another way you could go about it is if the gassing maybe scared off some stray dogs, and they ran into the forest towards MoonClan, though, they'd possibly running through EarthClan. But, if we did roll with that, EarthClan could hear about the dogs and send out a large enough group of cats (since it is a super clan after all
) and chase them away. When MoonClan ignores it during the gathering, EarthClan could suspect that they are denying weakness from an attack. From there EarthClan could decide what they want to do about it: attack, ignore, or otherwise.
Finally, if you want it to be entirely coincidence that the gassing and dog attack happen in SC and MC, MC could catch a bountiful amount of prey (say, they find a rabbit burrow, or they just get lucky) and with all the scent of prey, it attracts a pack of dogs.
Maybe, with the gassing of rabbits, a patrol sees the two-legs and runs off, but runs back later to check out what they were doing? So the poison isn't as potent, but can still get a few of the cats rather sick.

I'd like to have StoneStory sneak out to the MoonStone and manipulate the scene to put him in a good light, especially since he's going for power via the medicine cats as a fake prophet. Just checking in that its okay, since we need to clear things that effect the plot like that.
Im a bit confused on where having a fake prophet fits into the plot right now? We shouldn't stray away from our focus right now on the plot, since this battle and strategy is hard enough, given the fact it still isn't fully planned out yet, and still, we have the incoming gassing of the warrens and dog attacks. Having too much packed into a certain time period could cause some confusion. I'm just unsure about having more Starclan/ Medicine cat issues on top of this battle.
I'm still a little confused. So do the dog attacks and the poisoned hares have anything to do with each other? And with those attacks happening to MC and SC, won't that postpone the fight between the two and EC? Because even though they'll hide it from them in the next gathering they'll still be too damaged to jump into a battle with EC, right?
Guys, if we could keep the general plot planning to the actual plot planning page, that would be great. Right here we just need to figure out the timing.

when should we have that happen, now that SunClan cats are falling to the effect of the humans poisoning? And who will roleplay them? I'd be willing too if no one else can. And who's cats want to be a part of the patrol that fends off the dogs? I can offer an apprentice or Mossbranch.

Velvetspot, Ravenpaw and Nightpaw can join. Could Bloodheart, one of my NC rebels, come into help too?
I'm thinking three dogs in the pack, so that should be enough. It would be hard for a NC rebel to help out, considering that their "camp" is across the map. But I can have Mossbranch lead the patrol tomorrow morning if that's alright with everyone? I have an appointment to get my car fixed so I'll be rather bored.
