Hello everyone! I just updated the History Page and its Planned Events section. If you haven't yet, please check those out. Unfortunately, some of those plans have fallen through and we hadn't discussed how to proceed on the last plot planning page, so I had to make some adjustments on my own. For instance, as Creekstar is presumed dead, arranged mateship between her and Tiger won't be possible, but we can still have arranged mateship between other prominent DawnClan and NightClan members.
I'd like to hear all of your thoughts regarding the planned events and any other ideas you have! While the merge itself is relatively set in stone now, the details of it are not. I've noticed that participation in the site-wide plot has dropped fairly substantially in the past few weeks and am uncertain of why that is, but I'd like to remind everyone that you'd don't need to have a high ranking or prominent character to make a difference. Usually the hardest part to making plots happen is to have characters even acknowledge what is supposed to be going on- be it anything from a weather event to political turmoil- so even just having your cats gossiping or sharing their opinions is a help. As well, you should never hesitate to post here or message other members if you are having trouble finding a place for your characters in the overall plot.

Hey I has a question. I noticed that in an earlier entry you said some cats wouldn't support the merge, and that they would leave the clan. What happens to them then? do they just become rouges? or do they band together and form a new clan, or a rouge group?
They could join the pseudo-clan of cats living at the edges of DawnClan's old territory we talked about on the last Plot Planning Page, join MC or SC, or just leave the clans entirely.
I know Prairieowl will be either staying with the pseudo-clan or moving. She won't have anything to do with the merge. She can be one of the aggressors, if need be. Not sure where Endlesstears or Foggysight will be after the merge. Slatewatcher might stick around, but he is still a little on the fence. Walruskit and Smallkit are too young to know any better, so they will probably be going along with the merge. Unless their parents would take them out of EarthClan, after it is formed.
I would offer some of my cats to pair off with cats from the opposite clans, but I don't have too many that are old enough at the moment... D:

Silver, you can wait until the characters are older if the EarthClan merge persists and the clans are still trying to bind themselves together.
Okay. I kinda felt bad that the cats staying after the merge are only apprentices. Although, that could help them grow up with some of the other younger cats from opposite clans and form relationships over a longer stretch, perhaps. And then they could make it official after they are warriors. That may actually work better, so it isn't rushed.
ok, thanks. I'll probably pair one of my dawnclan cats, Silverstorm off with a nightclan cat if possible, and one of my nightclan cats, Eclipse, will join the cats living at the border. If you need any cats to cause "issues" for the new clan, Eclipse is up for that role.
Will there be leaders of the pseudo-clans, and if so, will those roles count as high ranks or just a leader-like character?
Now this is just an idea, but I was thinking that after the merge Nightclan and Dawnclan could still be a little unsure about the whole thing and not become one clan fully. Much like the Great Journey in the books when at first everyone was still kinda separate from the other clans, but eventually work things out. I think adding a little negativity could stir things up a bit and cause some conflict because I'm sure there will be some cats who aren't happy with the idea but will go along with it anyway. I don't know if any of this was already planned, but if not I think it would be a good idea. If y'all don't like it that's fine. I just don't see how everyone will immediately start getting along and just suddenly trust the other clans.
I agree with Gingerheart completely they wouldn't just start getting along right away
I'm open for pairing up any of my NightClanners and DawnClanners. Having Silverpool paired up is my priority, since she's old and as a character is desperate to have more kits. PM me if you have an older NightClanner you think would be an interesting pairing with her (not necessarily a happy one).
Kingfish, to be honest, I haven't really thought through how I'll handle the leaders. The biggest factor will be how large that group grows. If there are under 20 characters then it would just be treated like a head warrior/council member, but if it does grow fairly large then a more formal leader would be needed, who might be treated as a leader in that their owner couldn't have another high ranking character and would be selected/approved by the moderators and myself. Of course, the clan wouldn't be recognised by StarClan and the leader wouldn't be given their lives.
Oh, and Henry and I were discussing the possibility of having that pseudo-clan become allies of MC and SC.
Ginger, I think that is how it would naturally go and agree having some internal tensions would be a lot of fun to roleplay. I know my character Gracklepaw will be stirring up some mischief.

I mean I suppose I'll throw tiger back out there and because I feel like being a **** to my main cat, I'll throw Pantherfang out there as well. Not blazingstrike, he's gonna be with one of king's, that is if we're still on @ kingfish
If there are any males in dawnclan that are looking for a male mate then Mustang can be up for a relationship.
I'm hoping to have Scorchedwings out of SunClan's deputy position by Friday.

I'd prefer if the fight was started by a NightClanner, for Scorched's sake primarily, but think it could also work for the larger plot. NightClan could be getting rather cocky, now that they think that they'll have DawnClan's warriors entirely in their pocket along with the territory that comes with them.

I honestly think that's a good idea Ember, I can totally see that happening. Maybe since NightClan is becoming so confident, they could've been trying to hunt on SunClan territory and that's how the fight starts or something, I don't know, just an idea from the top of my head. But if that isn't good enough then just ignore me lol

It seems like a SunClan ambush is brewing right now in DawnClan/NightCLan.
Personally I think it would be interesting to let the plot develop naturally, with the outcome being that SC hands over The Burnt Woods but how they get there being left up to the moment of: kidnapping kits or the medicine cat, starting a full battle, or just showing up en masse and demanding the territory without bloodshed. What do you guys think?
Well the thing is that to me it seems more likely that SC will have MC back them up so they don't have to give up some their land. I mean no clan is gonna do that unless they uabe no real choice. Not to mention what better way for Earth clan to say " we are here and you will respect us and stay out of our way" than taking it by force?"
I honestly don't think Sunclan would want help from Moonclan until after the burnt woods are taken. They could realize they are outnumbered and want Moonclan's help to get their land back, Kaiserstar would just need a good reason to help them. That I can't figure out yet.
Could one of my cats try and tell Sunclan about the upcoming plan to attack them, but get caught by one of her Earthclan clan mates? Or would that alter the plan too much?
Will we be able to rp as the cats in the like non Earthclan cats
Panther, SunClan won't know that DawnClan and NightClan are going to attack and don't currently have MoonClan as allies, so I doubt that they stand much of a chance to stop EarthClan.
