Plot Planning

Hello everyone!

If you haven’t yet, please read over the planned events section of the history page. I haven’t gotten the chance to update it since last week, so there are references to Lightningstar disappearing and Floodheart taking her place, but other than that the information still stands.

The plot seems sufficiently planned out for now, but I worry that the SunClan arc could be made stronger. There’s been very limited tension between Icestar and Jaguargaze supporters, so we could possibly drop that thread and try something else in SunClan. MoonClan has also been quiet recently and while that may pick up when they are attacked by NightClan and DawnClan, I’d love to hear any suggestions for plots there.

As an aside for everyone with cats traveling between DawnClan and NightClan, please do not record these movements on the Character Updates page. Since all of the characters will still be considered members of their original clans and are only temporarily staying with the other clan, there’s no need for them to be moved on the pages.

About Brokenpaw, she could probably lead the way to the battle and be saved by Darkwisp, but again, as long as Brokenpaw will be back sooner than later I'm fine.

I think that would be great if Brokenpaw being held prisoner led to the Night/Dawn-Moon Clan war. I think we should have that battle soon instead of putting it off.

Which NightClanners are traveling to DawnClan to train them fighting? We could have the first attack in a week or two, if we push that plot to the forefront.

Ricochet refused to have any NightClan warriors sent to DawnClan, so if we're having some head over it has to be at Scarletstar's order, or Ricochet has to change his mind.

Or maybe some could just go? That would probably cause drama, though, and that would definitely be bad for the relationship between NightClan and DawnClan. :/ Hmm...... Yeah, they should probably wait for Scarletstar's decision.

I don't mind changing Ricochet's mind of course. Not much is happening in NightClan at the moment, so sending a few warriors to DawnClan wouldn't be a problem.

Oh, he did? What is NightClan contributing to the alliance, then? Just food, or...?

I don't mind the change, I just need to fix the history page and want to get it right this time.

If we are sending night clanners to dawn clan to teach them combat skills then I'd like to suggest pantherfang. He's not really into, breeding with dawn clan cats but he would make a good Coach.

They won't be there permanently though, correct? I mean, they would only come from time to time to give training sessions, not stay there overnight for a few moons.

I don't think we ever really said which we were going to do, Ember. I expected them to stay overnight for a few moons, like the DawnClanners, but it could change. I just think it would be easiest if they stayed in DawnClan, because one of the reasons they were being sent is to ensure the DawnClanners that left safety. Also, it would be much more simple than repeatedly traveling back and forth between Clans. If we look at it realistically, they would probably be too tired to train the DawnClanners anyway.

Could we have a blizzard strike the clans right now? It would coincide interestingly with the gathering, and could be used to reinforce SunClan's ideals of strength in clan cohesion, as well as possibly offering a stronger reason for SunClan to enter into an alliance with MoonClan, seeing as the blizzard would significantly weaken SunClan's ability to hunt, perhaps weakening them overall for the rest of leaf-bare.

Hey guys, I just updated the history page and planned events section.

1. Does everything seem correct? Is there anything I missed?

2. The planned events section seems rather bare, I think we should start planning out where to head from here. I'm interested in where we could take the medicine cat rivalry between NightClan and MoonClan. There's a gathering coming up, perhaps we can use that as an opportunity to stir up some trouble?
As well, SunClan's planned plot crumbled. I think it might be best if we started out from scratch there and entirely re-evaluated where we want to take the clan, but I want to hear your ideas before I suggest anything.

Runepaw harbors a deep hatred for Brokenpaw, so if you need to you can use her to stir up trouble, she's definatly going to be rude to brokenpaw at the gathering and any medicine cat meetsing.

I think we should have a large variety of hardships striking SunClan to force them further down Jaguarstar's path of strength in unity and clan before individual. That could definitely include the fox attack.
