Now that the flooding arc has drawn to a close, it’s time to start considering where we want to carry the war from here. MoonClan and NightClan are loosely allied, as are SunClan and DawnClan, but where do we want the source of their next battle to come from?
We can continue to feed off of the assassin plot, possibly, if cats continue to go missing from border patrols and such, or we can start something new, possibly escalated border skirmishes, drama at a gathering, etc.
In the last plot planning page, we considered having apprentices continue meeting at the gathering clearing and eventually being found out by their leaders.
What do y’all think should happen?

That's a good point; I should have considered that. These cats should really be more careful.
I don't know about the other clans, but MoonClan has had their share of suicidal cats lately. Do with that information what you will.
Is anyone on board with starting up the apprentice meetings at the Gathering soon? We still need to have relations severed between the clans but the two can be going on simultaneously.
I think starting the apprentice meetings soon would be great. Sneaking out might be difficult for many reasons(i.e. NightClan's new law or DawnClan just being pretty divided right now or the recent deaths in MoonClan or the badger attack with SunClan) but that's the point of sneaking.
I wonder how these meetings will help effect everything. I mean, you have a group of cats who want one big clan, during a time where the clans are rebuilding and trying to regain their individuality and identity. That's going to be the most collision inducing disagreement of ideas.
You have DawnClanners who think DC is the best and they are supreme, you have MoonClanners who are fearful of NightClanners, you have NightClanners who are being very careful as to not spark a war, you have SunClan which is a tentative clan to begin with. These apprentices sure do have a handful trying to unite.
Are we thinking about the apprentices getting caught at some point? Or maybe they'll become warrior and just form the Council of the High Tree xD A committee devoted to unity.

We should get moving with having the meetings go wrong more often, as well.

I've got a question.
Sunclan and Dawnclan, should they reunite? Echostar could begin to trust Sunclan again then go over and ask for forgiveness for Locuststar's rudeness(Literally no offence from me just the only way I could put it) They should accept yet the missing cat thing could start happening now more often with the two clans.
Any thoughts?

Since the ultimate goal (For now) is maximum clan isolation, it has worked in our favour that the alliances between SunClan/DawnClan and NightClan/MoonClan have crumbled or become strained on their own. Rebuilding these alliances might set us back more, and at the rate the plot is moving right now, I personally feel as though that's something we'd be better off avoiding.

Well, one possibility is by having more cats switch clans, or form close relationships with cats from the opposite clan, despite the fact that leadership is no longer driving the cats out of DawnClan. I think that will happen as a result of the site-wide plot, though. So, in terms of specifics, I suppose that we could have the two clans attempt to reconcile their alliance, but it ends horribly, due to either a disagreement/someone taking offence/a member of one clan objecting/an unexpected attack. A group akin to the Purity Brigade (Or whatever they're calling themselves now) could be responsible.
To drive the clans apart further, or at least some of them, there could be a border skirmish in which a warrior of another clan takes one of Epochstar's lives. That would obviously cause SunClan to distrust the clan with which the fight broke out, and also, possibly, become paranoid and distrust all of the clans. It could also cause the other clans to distrust the clan with which the fight broke out, fearing that a similar fight might break out and kill or injure one of their own members.
We can also have apprentices be attacked and killed by, say, a fox attack on either side of the border and have the clans throwing accusations at each other.
I think that gathering accomplished exactly what it needed to. At the next gathering, should we have the clans officially making themselves more isolated, by imposing new rules such as stronger border policies; neutral territory between the clans were no one is allowed to travel; and a total ban on cats switching clans? (Each clan could have their own regulations). The catalyst for these changes in policy could be SunClan and MoonClan wanting to distance themselves from the erratic and dangerous tendencies which they see in DawnClan, but in order to make the policy more acceptable to DawnClan they impose it on all clans/borders.

I think that?s a great plan, Command, but I don?t think we should completely ban on cats switching clans, for the sake of giving roleplayers some freedom with their characters. Maybe we can have the leaders be more strict about who they except, instead?

Commando's idea is great. Maybe we don't have an out of roleplay ban on cats switching clans, but in roleplay there is one? So, you can still have your character switch clans, but they'd have to do it discretely and not let the leader notice until they were already gone in the roleplay. It might be hard for cats to be accepted into the other clans, though, because of what Ember suggested, with stricter acceptance policies.

I was thinking that might be a problem, but I like River's idea for how to get around it. Perhaps leaders could also make exceptions for cats who are fleeing from tyranny, as their horror stories of life in Xclan would help give the clan as a whole a more patriotic, stigmatized opinion. This isolationism and anti-outsider sentiment could easily feed into a new war later on, with extremely strained "Alliances of necessity" and a lot of distrust between the clans?

I agree with Command, I don't think the cats leaving their clans will be the problem so much as them being accepted into the clans. With the clans vying for strength, they're sure to want more cats, but at the same time they're going to turn away cats who they think don't absolutely hate the other clans.
