Flood Arc Plot Planning II

Posted by Ember on January 1, 2016 at 3:10 PM

How long do y’all want the flooding to last?

We’re getting to the end of when the arc was scheduled to come to a close, but there’s been little conflict between the clans. What do you think we should be using as a source of tension (sickness, some planned conflicts between leaders and groups, maybe some skirmishes breaking out, etc.) or would you rather leave this arc as one that unifies the clans against, for instance, a drought?

Everyone sure likes to leave their kits without parents XD

It would probably cause a large stir in the clan if a warrior who was the only remaining parent of a young kit died. I didn't plan on killing him, but I'm opportunistic when it comes to plots, so if it serves the right purpose I'll throw him on the chopping block x)

That's true, it's a good idea. "Throw him on the chopping block x)" Such a warm, sweet choice of words XD I would offer up one of my Sunclan cats but I'm quite attached to them, and they wouldn't make much a difference anyway

That'd work. I could offer one of my Apprentices, but they aren't as important.

No worries, Gorseflower would happily take in Buck's kit in XD She's been wanting kits for a while.

Thanks, Ebony x) I'm sure Spottedkit will appreciate it. So, Queen, do you want to go through with it then?

Sure, if Scarlet doesn't die and continues being Deputy.

Maybe a while after the fight and Buckhunter's death, there could be a sort of Clan Meeting in a certain area by maybe Sunclan and Nightclan medicine cats ( the leaders will probably be arguing and medicine cats are supposed to stay out of things like that) and the Dawnclan and Moonclan leaders to make a decision behind the leaders' backs? And maybe that decision would be to kidnap Scarletdeath or something, but not kill her-it would stir up more drama since Nightclan would assume Sunclan took her and then attack but Sunclan wouldn't know and attack back in self-defense or force Nightclan into the territory or into hiding, while really some medicine cats are hiding her? She'll wound some of the medicine cats and she'll either escape or they'll get found out or catch on to why medicine cats are being wounded with no good reason? I don't know, not necessarily all in a chain or order, just ideas.

I like that. Its sounds interesting, but there could be some cracks in that situation.

if moonclan was involved in it, geckostar wouldnt agree to kidnapping. shes not about that life

What would be the purpose of kidnapping Scarletdeath but not killing her?

I don't think the medicine cats would want to get involved in something that sneaky and underhanded. It's been such a short time since Dawnswallow and Weepingstar that I think taking any actions like that could permanently destroy the position.

That's true, I didn't think about that

Sorry if I'm just picking out useless ideas, but what if a Sunclan cat tried to assassinate Scarletdeath-failing of course but I think it would cause a little more drama

I don't see as many faults in that. Probably someone not too loyal to the Warrior Code, but close to Buckhunter.

I agree with Lion, there isn?t much reason to kidnap Scarletdeath or for the medicine cats to do something that?ll worsen their already bad situation.

I could have Running-grain try to kill Scarletdeath, he?s a half-brother of Buckhunter who?s eager to make a name for himself.

Okay. I'm assuming you want Runninggrain to live?

Yeah, I'd rather not kill him off, but I'd be fine with him being badly injured or possibly kicked out of SunClan.

Okay. So could Scarlet maim him?

Yep, however it might be in her best interest to simply try to knock him out without hurting him too badly.
