So, where do you guys think we should be taking the plot?

In the last blog entry, we were talking over a few ideas about Wildstar getting captured. A patrol of MoonClan apprentices or young warriors could accidentally or on purpose stray into NightClan’s territory, Wildstar and possibly some older warriors could go after them to bring them back to MoonClan’s territory before NightClan discovers what they have done. They are attacked by a NightClan patrol, and Wildstar is taken captive by those warriors. It would be best if more violent, impulsive warriors were on this patrol as more cautious warriors wouldn’t be risking starting a bigger fight by doing this. Raven & Co. suggested that they demand the territory they lost in the last battle in return for giving Wildstar back. This could be a way for them to potentially back down without starting a larger conflict over it, while not looking like cowards. However, MoonClan might be too proud to do this and insist that Wildstar be given back with nothing given in return, since they will believe that NightClan is in the wrong.

Thoughts?

DawnClan could easily get pulled into this conflict due to their ties with MoonClan, but as things are right now between the change of leadership and the fact that they don’t have anything on the line if they stay out of it, SunClan doesn’t have much reason to be involved.

A mouse uprising?!? I would pay money to see that. Actually in a warrior cat book (no clue which one. I just remembered seeing something about this) there were rats that were causing a lot of trouble. So yes, not exactly a mouse uprising, more of rats. xD

Oh, like rat infestation? When blue star and fire heart?....major spoiler guys...got attacked by a bunch of rats?

I think that Some warriors in Moonclan should retaliate and kill some of the Night clan warriors on a patrol or something in cold blood. Shadowstride in particular. Then the Nightclan cats run them out of their territory in retaliation to that. Also, I was thinking to tie this in with even more turmoil have Sunclan join Nightclan and have Dawnclan become Moonclan's new allies... Just an idea.

@Briar | I think that the change in alliance was mentioned in the SunClan camp thread. Silverwind wasn't at all happy with the idea XD
And perhaps Darkpaw could go with the patrol, they start fighting and he gets in a mix-up, thus being blamed and banished for allegedly attacking another MoonClan cat and NightClan even thinks that he's on their side?

Maybe that cat could be Shadowstride? I was thinking Shadowstride could see Mad-demon on a Night clan patrol and attacks her, then Darkpaw happens up on them. Shadowstride wouldn't die but he'd be gravely injured, and all he'll remember seeing is Darkpaw

That could work, but I'm not sure what the effects of it would be. It could be an excuse for NightClan to attack MoonClan, though I'd imagine that NightClan would want to stay out of it this time. It makes more sense for MoonClan to attack NightClan in a full battle for their territory and to avenge Wildstar.

Well, I was planning on having Shadowstride's brother, Demon on the patrol. Instead of Shadowstride killing a cat, we could have Demon kill one of his own clanmates and blame it on Shadowstride. Demon would also invoke the attack. And Frozenstar could go to Moonclan and tell Toxicstar she wants Shadowstride. When Toxicstar refuses, Nightclan could attack as a result. Or, you could have Shadowstride go with the Nigthclan leader, and Moonclan attack Nightclan.

I was wondering if Darkpaw could still get involved in some of this so he can get banished and then I can go through with the forbidden love idea I had? I can't think of anything to get him banished, short of really having him kill or nearly kill one of my other cats to get things rolling... :/

Maybe Demon could say Darkpaw helped with the death of his clanmate? Demon just wants Shadowstride dead, that's all. Darkpaw could come to Shadowstride's aid and when Demon attacks him against the request of whatever cat he's with, Darkpaw could save Shadowstride. Demon would kill his clanmate and tell Frozenstar that Shadowstride and Darkpaw were responsible. That would actually make more sense, because the way Frozenstar reguards Moonclanners, I doubt she'd believe only one cat could kill them.

@Wolf | Who were you thinking of having banished? I have a few cats I want dead, so maybe they can kill one of my cats? Of course they'd have to be in the same clan(s) for your cat to get banished for killing mine.

Briar and I were talking over the possibility of a border skirmish leading to a larger battle. It could go either way, with either NightClan or MoonClan being attacked, either way MoonClan would probably have to lose.
A NightClan patrol could attack a MoonClan patrol on MoonClan?s side of the border, but it's possible that MoonClan could have provoked them. That will give MoonClan that extra shove to attack NightClan in a full battle, even if Toxicstar is reluctant his clan won?t be at that point, they will still be angry about Wildstar being killed at a gathering and itching for a fight, the border skirmish would just be that last little push.

If there is a border skirmish there is no doubt Toxic will agree with a battle because he took a great deal of guilt with the death of Wildstar and he is trying to pin his anger onto Nightclan so that would work
