Plot

Here's my idea:

After Rainstar and Hawkstar retire, Lilystar goes to SunClan trying to make peace. Duskstar hears her out and realizes that DawnClan was not responsible for Coldheart's death and agrees to a truce between the two clans. One of them or one of their deputies brings this up in the next gathering, implying that Coldheart was killed by NightClan. NightClan is outraged and MoonClan comes to their defense. DawnClan and SunClan make an alliance hoping to protect themselves as tension grows. Eventually something happens between SunClan/DawnClan and MoonClan/NightClan, starting a battle between the two.

This could bring NightClan and MoonClan into the plot and start the alliance between the two that we thought would be really cool before, plus it would force SunClan and DawnClan to be a major part of the plot, not merely backup for NightClan and MoonClan.  What do you guys think of it?  Have any ideas of your own?

Nightclan and Moonclan attacked Sunclan. Flameclash was killed as well as a few others on both side but Sunclan sustained the majority of the injuries. Without a leader or deputy Hailstorm and Palefur took charge and called for the battle to end. They then agreed to allow Nightclan and Moonclan to extend their borders into Sunclan territory.

Duskstar sounds like such a loser. Wasn't even there for the battle.
Okay, I give whole hearted permission for any moderators, administrators, or Ember to play Duskstar when I'm not there and he is needed.

So, I was thinking that there doesn't seem to be much of a chance that the pride war between the clans will prevail with the cooler heads of Dapplestar and Ivorystar heading the clans that used to be the aggressors so I was thinking of a way that it could go out with more of a bang instead of just dwindling off without a real climax.

Crimsonstar knows he's running out of time to do anything to Sunclan, so I was thinking that he could go to Moonclan and ask (again) for assistance in destroying Sunclan. Due to the fact that he won't have a very good reason for this, if he has any, and that he isn't on the same terms with Dapplestar as he was with Mirestar, that Dapplestar will refuse.

Crimsonstar would leave Moonclan frustrated and upset and return to his own clan. He would quickly declare an attack on Sunclan, keeping to himself the fact that he expected them to stay in the clan until every last Sunclan cat was murdered. Nightclan would attack Sunclan, Sunclan would send a patrol to Dawnclan for help and Dawnclan could join the battle. Even when Nightclan begins to lose the battle badly, Crimsonstar will refuse to call a retreat and Ivoryfang could over-ride him and call for one. The Nightclan cats would quickly flee from the battle, leaving Sunclan and Dawnclan victorious.

On the way back to the camp, Crimsonstar would stray from following the others and instead commit suicide. When he's revived (on what will be his last life) he will feel that is a message sent by Starclan, that he is meant to destroy Sunclan, even at the cost of the lives of all the cats in Nightclan. He'd take Ivoryfang out into the territory and tell her about his plan to strike Sunclan again, and soon. And that if she ever tries to go above him again he'll kill her. Obviously, Nightclan would not survive another attack and Ivoryfang is forced to take measures against him.

What do you guys think?

I agree, I don't think neither leaders, or Dapplestar has any want to link himself up with Nightclan.

So should Sunclan and Dawnclan attack Nightclan first, win by a little and Duskstar decides that's enough, delivers a cold message to Crimsonstar, declaring that he was going to take back his land by the next day at dawn, and Crimsonstar gets angry enough to attack him? Or is Crimson just going to attack before Duskstar has a chance to have him and Lilystar attack Nightclan?

My idea was that Nightclan just attacks first, so Sunclan never has to be the aggressors, but Sunclan could be the first to attack.

But whatever it is I need it happen soon because I promised Ivory I'd kill Crimson sometime towards the middle of the month so she'd have a decent amount of time to rp Ivoryfang as Ivorystar.

Okay. We can do it in the next couple of days, head over to MoonClan to get it started whenever you can.

So now what? Gathering to say apologies, and then a easy plot for the summer, or what?

That is a good question. We can have a gathering, but let's keep our streak of really uncomfortable gatherings and make it make the war even larger. It would be a waste to let it all be forgiven now, and harder to set up the next war.
The SC/DC MC/NC probably can't happen again for a while, seeing as MC and NC are having some problems again. SC and DC are still best buds, we need to break them up so it isn't unfair.

We can break the wars up with some other plot types on top of them, or just use it as something to start another war.
Maybe a natural disaster of some sort? We've already had a drought, but we haven't had a big flood or wildfire in a long time. We could also have a greencough plague.

Are there any other "new" alliances we can do at this point? Or would you rather us stick to more of the "old" alliances that have always seemed to work out.

We've already done alliances every possible way before, I'm fairly certain, if that's what you mean. DC and SC need something to break them up if we're going to reshuffle alliances, though.
We can't have three clans ganging up on each other, but we could just not have any alliances.

We need to move the borders back to where they were. SunClan can probably go ahead and move it back now, since they won their last battle. MoonClan and NightClan have the strip of land that should probably be given back to NightClan, so they have at least a little bit of a border with DawnClan. They could fight over that, but with Dapplestar and Ivory working it out I don't know if that would be an actual fight, let alone enough to start a new war between the two clans.

I was thinking that gang/other cats could start trying to take over an area of the Nightclan. At first it could just be Nightclan, and it gets to a point where Ivory actually needs help from the other clans. I think that the other clans should turn her away, but cats start coming in from the loner plains and loner forest, and it the clans verses the outsiders. That would be fun to do, and it could also let other people have short-term leaders of the outside of the clans group. it would also be wonderful to see the four clans have to work together and have trouble with that.
That's my idea.

I'd prefer if we didn't have a plot involving cats outside of the clans. If we can't think of anything else, we can use that as a last resort, but let's try to figure out something else first.

Okay. That was just the first thing that came to mind... Hmm....
So, my other idea is if twolegs begin setting traps and killing all the cats-
Okay, that one just wouldn't work. So I'm out of ideas for now.
