Hey guys, Ivory and Ember here! Today, January 16th 2014, is the 5th anniversary for the site. We'll try to not ramble, there really isn’t much to say about it, but that this really is amazing. When Silverwing and I (Ember) made the site we did not expect it to last a few months, let alone this long but I am very happy it has. The site has gone so far, just skimming over the history is fairly impressive and we can’t believe how many active members we have. When Ivory joined threeish years ago there were six members -if we are remembering it correctly- and a few of them weren’t active. All of you are amazing, we have been in a lot of many roleplays over the years and this one has been by far the most rewarding.

I’m probably failing at my resolution not to be too cheesy with this blog entry but this site would be nothing without you, the members, you are what keeps this whole operation going. All of you are a joy to roleplay with, we wish we had more time. Ferretfur, you seem to really enjoy writing. While we’ve barely roleplayed with you before, we honestly hope we can start doing it more. Lily, you are such a sweet person. You’re a joy to roleplay with, it’s nice to have someone who writes such genuinely happy characters, and a lot of fun to just talk to. Hope, you have a lot of confidence. You are generally the first to start conversations and stuff, you rarely hang back and let others do the work while roleplaying. From the moment you joined you were posting and very active, we didn’t have to drag you out of lurking, you just came. Scrawl, you are a very, very impressive roleplayer. You have a lot of talent and a good style, your characters keep consistent personalities and are a lot of fun to read about. Ebony, it’s a real shame we haven’t been roleplaying with you more. You have a very consistent style, your characters are unique and you seem like an all-around nice person and you’re not afraid to speak up, which is also quite nice. Casper, it’s really nice to have a calm, dependable member who sticks around for a long time. You get involved in the roleplay but aren’t afraid to hang back, you don’t need the plot to always center around you but still add onto the story- which is great. Flicker, it’s great to have you back! You’re a lot of fun to roleplay with and we adore your characters, you seem to put a lot of heart into everything you do. Same goes for Eclipse, it’s great to have you back. You are so friendly and seem to really enjoy roleplaying, we hope we have the chance to RP with you in the future. Jaguar, we had our doubts when you first joined but you have completely redeemed yourself. You are a great roleplayer: your characters aren’t flat, you’ve found a good balance between boring and over the top, you’re not afraid to put yourself out there but don’t mind staying back to give someone else a chance. You’re an impressive writer, we hope you stick around for a while longer. Rain, your characters are so realistic. They have consistent personalities but are also very different from each other. We love reading your posts, even if we roleplay with you less than we wish we did. Spotty, you are so sweet- a joy both in and out of roleplaying! Your roleplaying has improved so much since you enjoyed the site, your characters are so compassionate and you play them off perfectly. They all have depth and are different from each other, you pull off truly admirable characters without stepping deeply into cheesiness, a talent very few of us possess. Blizzard, you are adorable! Your drawings are so cute, and your characters are just fun to read. You have been active for a very long time, it’s been wonderful to roleplay with you and get to know you over these months. Mint, you have always been a good roleplayer and I’m so happy you have came back. When you joined last year we were very impressed with your writing, and still are now.  To the rest of our members, as you are new I don't know you very well- but what I have seen I like.  You are all very good roleplayers, I hope I get the chance to get to know you better soon!

We can’t go through this without mentioning our moderators, who are possibly the one line holding our sanity down. Ghost, you are one of the best roleplayers we have ever had the joy of having on our site. Your characters are nothing short of amazing. There have never been any painfully obvious moments when they’ve suddenly forgotten their personalities. They are all very different from each other and you play them all off very well. We don’t have much to add but say to keep doing what you’re doing, it’s just great. Lakesong, you keep things interesting around here. You don’t hang back, if you think it’s getting boring then you make sure something is happening. You seem to always be very into the roleplay, we can’t help but get into it too while roleplaying with you.

It’s been a great five years, I hope we make it a few years more!
