Hey guys! You may have noticed, but we don’t really have anything planned for the plot. I do want you guys to have a voice in it, rather than myself and a few others making all the decisions for everyone regarding the plot. So, here is a little thread where we can discuss where we want the plot to go.
That being said, I should probably make a list of things that have next to no chance of being accepted as part of the plot:
• Plots centered on only one character or a very small group. It’s just unfair for everyone else. Mind you, some characters will be more important than others by default (ex. Leaders are in charge and have the biggest role in everything, some characters just make themselves more important by their personality, etc.) but the entire plot shouldn’t hinge on one apprentice doing everything while everyone else sits back. Our recent little mess with the MC apprentices is a good example of how everyone can be involved in something started by a few characters, though.
• Prophecies. Honestly, they just restrict the plot and complicate things. They’re hard to work with without a very rigid plan, which we don’t want.
• Lots in intervention from Star Clan. I honestly think that we shouldn’t have Star Clan involved at all in the living cats, it’s hard to draw the line and we really should be focused on the “Here and now” now whatever long dead characters that really should have been forgotten by now. It would be too easy to slip into Star Clan coming and saving the clans any time something went wrong, which would get boring really fast.
Personally, I’d think it would be really interesting if Dawn Clan decided to join Night Clan. Night Clan can’t have everyone against them for much longer, it will become a bit silly if they keep winning outnumbered 4:1. This will take a while to set up, but if it’s done right I think it could be an interesting turn for the story to take. Maybe Hawkfeather could see something in Night Clan that would make him want to join them? Or Emberstar and he could start fighting? What do you guys think? Or do you have a different direction you think the plot should go?

Maybe there could be like, a big badger invasion or something. Or twoleg destruction, like in The New Prophecy.

The twoleg invasion could work, but I only want to do it if most of you really, really want to.
As for the badgers.....ehhhhhh....honestly, that was a cheesy plot in the books, it would be that much worse here. The badgers can't talk on this site, they couldn't get organised. It would make no sense.

That's why I thought a dog invasion would work better because they, being social animals, can communicate with one another (not the cats though), making them a formidable opponent (that's the right word, isn't it?)
Emberheart says...
The problem with that is pretty simple, they'd all just shift north. The forest isn't surrounded by city, they'd just move to a place that isn't being destroyed/burned.

True But, we could make it so They tore down nearly ALL the trees, and built more buildings and in the process, the river was poisioned, so they where forced to move to a WHOLE different territory.

I was just thinking.....
If Nightclan and Moonclan were fighting over something like borders, and then Emberheart implied Dawnclan was weak or something so Hawkfeather started arguing with Emberheart, resulting in Dawnclan and Nightclan in alliance over their shared hatred of Moonclan. And Sunclan formed an alliance with Moonclan.
Once that was all settled than as Lakesong said earlier there could be an outbreak of rabies/sickness making the clans more agitated than ever.

That could actually work. Things cuold get really tense between MC and DC, NC could let on that they'd be willing to work with DC to bring down MC. MC would then go win SC to their side so they wouldn't be outnumbered. Something would happen (maybe a drought?) and DC would refuse to give MC and SC their water, NC would help protect DC as MC and SC are forced to attack so they won't die of thirst.
Did that make any sense at all?
