Hello everyone! If you aren’t up to date on what we have planned for the roleplay over the next little while, please check out the Planned Events Section of The History Page.
While the recent log-in glitch set us behind, we’re still on track to have the battle start this weekend. I currently have an EarthClan patrol going to steal food from SunClan’s territory, which as planned should prompt Desolatestar to call in MoonClan and go forward with the attack. EarthClan will win this battle by splitting up the attackers and ambushing them, but we haven’t decided what should happen following EarthClan’s victory and if y’all agree, that’s where we should focus most of our attention during this plot planning discussion.

So, when you say after the battle, do you mean if EarthClan demands surrender of territory, or do you mean if they decide to launch a war between the clans?
I personally think it would be interesting if EarthClan tried to hold each of them hostage, demanding that at least one of them join the clan, but neither clan agrees; rather, MC and SC seem hesitant and "think about it". In the mean time, SunClan and MoonClan try to keep up communications, but EarthClan either kills or chases off any SC and MC cats they find together, making relations strained.
If that goes through, MC and SC could try to befriend the rebels and try to help them break up EC (that is, if we're still running with that plot that EC will eventually deteriorate).

Wait, is the rebellion supposed to fail, or is it supposed to do something else? I can have Eclipse and the cats that are following her that I'm roleplaying do whatever, I just need to know where we're going with this.
Where did you hear that EC is supposed to separate later on? I thought Ember told me there wasn't going to be another battle after this one and EC is supposed to stay together.
I just had the greatest idea for Rebels, but I don't think it will work as great as I would imagine. 0-0? If the Rebels, SunClan and MoonClan team up to attack EarthClan. If it does happen... can Bloodheart lead?
It'd depend... she'd have to seriously work hard to earn Eclipse's trust, and for now Crow Leopardess and Tiger are 100% behind her so if she could do something that caught Eclipse's attention, like maybe save Queenstride from Threekings? However, if you want her to do something like that it'd also be up to Kingfish and Runningwish, but if they're fine with it, so am I.
King, either works. I was trying not to lead the conversation too much initially, to see where y?all took it. Who do you mean by ?them? in the first sentence there? They don?t have the numbers required to hold an entire other clan hostage, let alone two. EarthClan should also already be trying to break up communications between MC and SC, but I don?t know how proactive we?ve been about RPing that, so there?s almost certainly room for improvement.
Ginger, when I sent that message, I meant that there were no current plans for EarthClan disintegrating right then, not that its impossibility. Sorry if that wasn?t clear.

Having a three-clan system just doesn?t leave as many possibilities open as having four does, and their territory is large and awkward. Personally, I would prefer the former option, as it would leave the. That does leave the question of what to name the fourth clan, though, and what the new clans? personalities would be like. So unless there?s a lot of support behind that, it would be easier to go with the latter option.

By "them" I mean SunClan and MoonClan. I suppose by "hostage", I really mean that, since they win the battle, they keep both sides intimidated, but not really occupied or managed. They could also keep a prisoner or two from both clans, possibly/especially queens and threaten to kill them if MC and SC attack or don't comply.

Keeping a handful of kits hostage has been effective in the past as a plot point and would prevent MoonClan and SunClan from spending too much time regaining strength before attacking again, or even just abandoning the effort.

I think your idea for there to be another clan would be cool Ember. For some reason I personally can't really see EarthClan going back to the way it was, so just having them move but stay together and making a new clan sounds good to me. As for the clans name and personality, I can do a little digging to help get ideas, but if you have any idea on what you want it to be that would certainly be helpful in my research. That is, if you want me to.
If we ever go forward with the new Clan thing, maybe the name could be SkyClan? Like Moon-Sun are opposites, we could do that with Earth-Sky?

Or another one could be SeaClan, OceanClan, AetherClan, AirClan, or even GaleClan, since SkyClan is cannon for the Erins' universe.

True, Skyclan was the lost clan, refounded in "Firestar's Quest". My signature comes from that book! You know, the prophecy of three.
Moonclan, Dawnclan, Sunclan, Nightclan all fit the theme. I think in the end it's best we keep with these names as no territory will seemingly change. In the end that is.
If y'all need kits to hold hostage I have Wispkit and Cometkit. I think it'll be a little push that Moonclan needs since they are Mossbranch's kits.
So would the rebels form the clan? Just curious. And how would we get them to all come together, and more importantly since they are currently split up and have multiple leaders in the different groups, how would they decide a leader?
I agree with Henry; if we do return to four clans, some combination of the five names we already have would probably make the most sense.
