Hey guys! It’s Ember with another Monthly Meow. It’s been a pretty weird month mainly we all started school again. I’m so sorry I haven’t been able to be on as much, I have been very busy. Seeing as this is probably only going to get worse until school lets out in May, I will be looking for some more moderators in the coming weeks to help me keep an eye on the site. I am also introducing a new rule to the site: All members must have an up to date character list on their page. I know it’s a hassle, but it will be a great help with keeping the pages straight. Please put this list on your page as soon as possible, you can organize it by clan or have it be just a list, as long as it includes all your living characters.

A few of you may remember the adoption system we shut down a few months ago. Clover and I have come up with a new system. We will test it this month and will decide to keep it or scrap it next month. The idea is simple; I will keep a list of the characters up for adoption on the information page. Characters will remain on that list for a month before being deleted. To put a character up for adoption just PM me, once it is up for adoption it will no longer count towards your character limit but you also may no longer play the character. To adopt a character PM me, the first person to ask me for it will own the character. You may reclaim a character at any time before it is adopted, after a character is claimed by its new owner you cannot have it back, unless the new owner agrees to give it to you. Characters that have been up for adoption for two or more weeks are also allowed to be killed in battle, by a plague, in a natural disaster etc. with permission from myself or Sunken.  Leaders and and deputies cannot be put up for adoption.

Finally, to the fun little topic of this Monthly Meow! Do you have any characters that you really adore but don’t think anyone appreciates as much as you do? Or relationships between characters you find really interesting and would like to talk about? Or even little subplots you really enjoyed but don’t think people noticed?

Hey guys! It’s me, Risingsun, back for another Monthly meow and, boy, has been one eventful month! First of all, welcome to the site new members! We’re happy to have you here! Now, on ward to business, two leaders died, Snakestar and Amberstar, as well as dozens of other characters in a massive battle in which Night Clan attacked Moon Clan aftering being accused of kidnapping Cloverleaf, who was actually taken by a gang of cats in the city, Dawn Clan joined the battle on the side of Moon Clan and won. Night Clan lost over half of their members, and left an inexperienced, slightly insane outsider in charge of the clan. A deputy has yet to be named as the leader does not view her death as a possibility in the near future. Splatterstar is now leader of Dawn Clan, with Greysky as her deputy. Lightstep abandoned Moon Clan for Dawn Clan and took over as Medicine Cat with Littleberry as her apprentice leaving Frostpaw alone in Moon Clan. Night Clan is about to find themselves without a medicine cat, so (new members in particular!) now’s your chance!
I have to thank you guys, you’ve been doing a great job of finding new members! That being said, we cannot end our search here, keep up your work. Post advertisements on your facebook, DA, twitter, other warrior’s sites advertisement page/guestbook (be sure not to be annoying and please follow their rules, we don’t want to be a nuisance),tumblr, instagram, PM friends on other RP sites, quibblo, show your real life friends, make youtube videos (even short little text-only videos work) good luck!

So, keeping with the theme of welcoming new members to the site, the question of the month is a bit unusual: how did you find the site?
I can’t really answer this question, I made the site with Silverwing, but I can tell you why I made the site. I had a friend who was into it, who forced me to join a site. The site owner was inactive so the rules were never inforced, the site was a mess, the pages were not updated. I got Silverwing to join anyway, who got so sick of the lack of management on that site that she decided that we should make our own, so we did! After a year and a half she got too busy to stay online, and handed to complete ownership over to me. I’m pretty curious to find out how you guys found the site, so we can stop wasting time with advertisement methods that don’t work and annoying other site owners with our advertisements! ^_^

Before we get to the topic of this MM, I have one small annoncement: It's Star Wars day! May the fourth/force be with you!

Now, onward! Fellow members, let's be honest all 5 of you, we need more of ourselves. We've lost quite a few members, and to make this site function properly we need more active members. Don't get me wrong, you guys are great, but we really need more members. So, members, this is my job for you: get more members! How? Advertise, spread the word, show it to friends, etc. If you are on other role play sites give the link to the members, post advertisements on your facebook/DA/etc. , make or comment on warrior youtube videos, make threads on forums telling people about the site (if it's allowed inside the rules of the site!).

Sorry for the short monthly meow, but getting new members is slightly more important than me ranting on about the history of the clans or whatever else comes to mind.

Dear lovely website members? Its Snaketfang, back with another Monthly Meow. A lot has happened this past month, the war between Moon Clan and Night Clan was restarted when several young Night Clan warriors attacked Moon Clan. Moon Clan returned fire with fire and attacked Night Clan, there were heavy casualties on both sides. Dawn Clan was also dragged into the war, they attacked Moon Clan after Bloodrose was found dead at the border. The war is now three sided, with all of the clans involved. Peace is no where in sight, the original conflict has been forgotten and everyone is out for revenge. The clans are nearly equal in number, with none having the obvious advantage of number, Dawn Clan has 17, Night Clan has 19, and Moon Clan has 20. It is just as well Moon Clan has the most, even if they only hold the lead by one cat, seeing as they are being attacked by both sides now.

I am going to start posting a "To Do" list in every Monthly Meow, because we haven't been doing a terribly good job keeping up with ceremonies and such.

I won't force you to kill any, but if you don't use the character it's just clogging up your character limit and the pages.

And I am making a rather unimportant and probably long-awaited change: I am lowering the amount of time a queen has to be pregnant for before having her kits from a month to two weeks. This takes affect immidietly, enjoy the reduced wait

Hey!!! Tell the truth or this game is no fun!!!  You may have seen a game similar to this, it was suggested to me by Shadowfang who saw it on a forum game site.

Dear my most wonderful members, I have decided to make a few changes that you will both like and possibly resent!  But more on that later.  First, the news of this past month!  We got a few new members, welcome to the site and I hope you have fun (and follow the rules!).  Our 4th anniversery was a few weeks ago, lots of new characters were created and some old characters were killed.  The third clan has established itself and earned it's own personality and such, good job to all of us on that great transition!  And ummm...maybe I will write these on the first of every month, as promised?  Or I should just call them "Whenever-Snake-Wants-To-Write-One Meows!"

Oh yes, the changes! Good news first, eh?

   All art uploaded must be made by you.  Photographs of your characters are no longer allowed unless you took the picture yourself, they will be taken down even if you credit the author in the description.  You can still post these pictures on your page but I want the art section to be art made by our members.  Same goes for drawings you didn't make, post them on your page not the art section.  I will give you a few days to take them down before I will go through and delete them.
   
   If you use someone else's line art, you must credit the author in the description and state exactly how much you did to the drawing (Ex. Line art made by CutePanda at deviantart, I colored it in and added a background.)

Question of the month: what is one pet peeve of your's?

It drives me insane when flight attendants welcome you to a city/place when you first land. I mean, they just got there too, for what it's worth I could have welcomed myself. If they wanted someone to welcome the people so badly they could just have someone welcome you when you get off the plane that works in that airport.

Hey guys, I just relised I never wrote a Monthly Meow this month! Ha ha, silly me! Don’t think you got off the hook this easy! Well…you sort of did. This one will be a little different from the usual in the sense that I won’t be talking about what has happened or what I expect to happen (frankly, I have no idea on either of those.) . I will be talking about the differences and similarities between the clans! Fun! For me, at least, probably because I spend a lot of time thinking about this but never actually have posted anything about it. Without further rambling lets start with the first clan-Moon Clan!

Wait…quick disclaimer! This speaks for the clan in general; it may or may not be true for specific cats! And this will be a little biased, I am the current leader of Night Clan and love them dearly. And outdated...I'm an oldy!

Moon Clan was the first of the clans, started by the great leader Moonstar about 20 years before now (way to make me feel old, world!). The cats in Moon Clan place the highest emphasis in the code of the three clans, insisting that all cats must learn and follow it from the moment they are born. This causes them to change the most slowly and remain very static, they follow traditions to the end allowing them to be the most sturdy and close-knit clan. This is not without its faults, though, the cats of Moon Clan are known to sacrifice doing what is right for the purpose of following the code. They are the most loyal and dependable of the three clans, never turning their back to their clan mates or disobeying their leader. Moon Clan is currently the smallest clan, quickly crumbling under the superior fighting skill and numbers of Night Clan. Lets hope that they are able to pull through the winter! Star Clan light their paths!

Next up is Storm Clan! I know that they aren’t a current clan, but I don’t care. They were once a clan and will remain one in my mind…plus my last few monthly meows have been pitifully short and this adds content. Storm Clan was a constantly shifting dynamic clan, they felt a strong love for their families and clan mates. They followed the code but not as stiffly as Moon Clan but would occasionally sacrifice it to do something they felt was right. Known for their hospitality and good hearts they were the most friendly clan and trusted cats easily, a fact that would eventually bring their demise as they slowly shrunk in size and the remaining cats were forced to join Moon Clan to survive. The ancestors of these cats can still be found in the clans tod- or not…they have completely died out. No surprise there, right? There should be a moral in that but I can’t seem to find one.

Night Clan is the third clan; they were formed by Fallenstar shortly after the Great War ended. It began as a small group of misfits fighting for their own lives; they became very close and remained that way for a long time even as the clan grew. The most secretive of all of the clans Night Clan cats are revered for their brutal fighting skill and cunning. They bluntly ignore the code but do not be tricked by the stereotype! Night Clan cats follow their hearts and always do what they feel is right, taking no mind of a code that could bind them. They are known for working on their own agendas and their leader Snakestar strongly believes in the survival of the fittest. Personal morals decide every cat’s own actions and their intentions allowing Night Clan to be the most independent clan. They are surrounded by dangerous enemies on all sides and food is scarce causing them to often resort to drastic methods to survive. They allow in outsiders more freely than Moon Clan, but not as openly as Dawn Clan. Night Clan is quickly rising to the most powerful clan, with the new kits they will have many new warriors soon and enough to possibly wipe out Moon Clan! That is, if they ever get their act together because if things continue the way they are they may not be able to keep Star Clan on their side.

Last but not least is Dawn Clan! I don’t have a much to write about them because I don’t have much history to work from. They seem to be taking the place of Storm Clan, in the middle of the two extreme clans and kind. They do not, however, appear to be as weak as Storm Clan, they are growing quickly and have jumped over the first hurdle of starting! Let’s give the new clan a round of applause for their success! They have a strong sense of right and wrong and strongly oppose violence, a peaceful and sensible clan they may be the only hope of ending this seemingly endless war…that is…if they get more cats! We will just have to wait and see with this one, let’s hope Star Clan gives a lending paw to their inexperienced but well meaning leader.

Question of the month: What is the weirdest/sillyest thing you do often/am scared of.

I hate going to the library. I don't know why but I always have to reserve a book online, run to the front desk and get it and leave in a few minutes! I can never just be a normal person and walk in, find the book and meander over to the desk and check it out...and I go to the library twice a week. The little old ladies all know my name!
